LS is Not Just For Collegians!

Council boogying down in their LS 2010 skit.

During the past two weeks of this blog, we’ve been talking about preparing for Leadership Seminar as a collegian, but there’s way more to LS than just IMPACT and Adelphean Compass.

Some International Officer fun!

The Renaissance Concourse hotel will be teeming with International Officers and Grand Council members, ADPi celebrities to the Pi-obsessed, from every district. LS is the time where these members come together to work on improving the future of our sorority.

During the week, International Officers with the same positions meet up to discuss ideas about what works and doesn’t work in their districts. These Recruitment Directors, Housing Resource Directors and many other positions also meet to gain new ideas to bring back to the chapters in their district.

The district teams meet later in the week to talk about how to work together and improve the chapters in their own districts and to share any new ideas they’ve learned from their fellow IOs.

Some fun before a LS 2010 dinner.

Grand Council is also meeting during the LS weekend and will be discussing all things Alpha Delta Pi but on a grander scale (pun intended). Just think important new policies and guidelines will be determined in the same hotel as the Adelphean Compass participants.

With all these ADPi celebs milling about, you won’t have to become a paparazzi to snap a picture. We’re bringing them to you—the collegians.

Adelphean Compass attendees can meet Grand Council and other International Officers during the sister mixer on Thursday. IMPACT attendees can attend the scheduled meet and greet with Grand Council before the Awards Ceremony on Saturday.

We hope to see you there and, who knows, maybe in a few decades some of the collegians attending LS will be the International Officers themselves.

Who’re you most excited to see? IMPACT Attendees, are you going to the meet and greet with Grand Council?
